Your choice comes first
Essential functions work without consent. Optional maps, external video/social media and live Google ratings remain disabled until you choose the relevant categories. Acceptance and rejection are available at the same level, and you can save different choices for each category.
The small cookie icon on the left fades after 10 seconds on each page. This does not give consent. The settings window never accepts options automatically, and “Cookie settings” remains available in the footer.
Local storage and essential functions
| Name / function | Purpose | Duration / provider |
|---|---|---|
| ms_privacy_v1 · localStorage | Stores categories, time and version of your cookie choice. It is not an advertising identifier. | 180 days for both acceptance and rejection · Maistrali |
| ms-invitation-dismissed · sessionStorage | Remembers that you closed the direct-booking invitation. | Until the tab/session ends · Maistrali |
| WordPress / language choice | Necessary administrator sign-in, security or saving a user-selected language when these functions are used. | Depending on the session and WordPress/Polylang configuration. Not an advertising consent category. |
The precise sign-in cookie duration also depends on the WordPress “Remember me” choice. An administrator account is not required to book. If local storage is blocked, optional services remain off.
Maps
Enabling maps loads map tiles from the OpenStreetMap Foundation. The provider receives connection details such as your IP address and the tile request. We do not request your device’s current geographical location; routes start at Maistrali. Read the OpenStreetMap privacy policy.
Video and social media
This category permits external reels/videos and covers from Instagram/Meta, YouTube/Google, Vimeo or the external server hosting a selected file. Files hosted by this site do not need that external connection. Providers may use cookies and local storage for playback, security, measurement and, depending on your settings with them, other purposes. If you are signed in to their service, they may associate a view with that account.
Third-party cookie names and durations vary by provider, sign-in status and content; Maistrali does not determine them. Consult Meta / Instagram, Google / YouTube and Vimeo before enabling this category.
Live Google rating
Where configured, Google Maps / Places updates the aggregate guest rating. It loads only with the corresponding choice and can transmit technical data to Google. Editorial reviews remain available without enabling it. Google’s cookie information above applies.
Withdrawal and deletion
Open the settings and choose “Essential only”, or disable individual categories. Withdrawing an active choice reloads the page so previously loaded services stop. This site cannot delete cookies stored on another provider’s domain; use your browser settings to delete them. Withdrawal applies to future loading and does not undo earlier lawful processing.
Rejecting optional services does not prevent reading the site or making a reservation. The Stripe payment you choose and external links open services with their own privacy notices. This plugin does not activate its own Google Analytics or advertising pixel.
